The DCDRC is a statutory consumer forum established under the Consumer Protection Act to resolve disputes relating to defective goods, deficient services, unfair trade practices, and consumer grievances at the district level.
The DCDRC hears cases involving defective products, service deficiencies, medical negligence, insurance claims, banking disputes, e-commerce complaints, real estate disputes, and other consumer-related matters falling within its jurisdiction.
Any consumer who has suffered loss, deficiency in service, or unfair trade practices due to the actions of a seller, manufacturer, or service provider may file a complaint before the DCDRC, subject to the applicable legal provisions.
